The unexpected holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering complimentary bonus story content for Shadows players.

According to the formal statement, "An unusual encounter draws characters Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh quest, where hints of banned practices and terrifying changes echo through the shadows." The narrative introduces a "oddly garbed woman named Ada" who assigns the duo with journeying into the Gemstone Grotto—a important location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her ally from a secret group.

The adventure concentrates on "strange tests and a terrifying foe" and is accessible to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Familiar Settings and Metamorphoses

The trailer showcases the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The trailer finishes with a dramatic moment showing a character, probably the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
