The House investigative committee has made public a set of approximately 70 photos from the estate of deceased convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

This constitutes the latest in a series of release from a tranche of over 95,000 photographs the panel has secured from Epstein's estate. It contains images of quotes from the book Lolita scrawled across a female's body, and obscured photos of women's foreign passports.

This action arrives mere hours before the 19th of December due date for the Department of Justice to release every documents related to its inquiry into Epstein.

"These latest images pose further inquiries about exactly what the Department of Justice has in its possession," said the senior Democrat of the committee, Robert Garcia.

What is in the Photographs Made Public

Some of the images published on Thursday feature Epstein conversing with professor and activist Noam Chomsky on a private plane; Bill Gates seen next to a female whose features is obscured; Steve Bannon sitting at a workstation opposite Epstein, and former Alphabet president Sergey Brin at a dinner event.

These are the most recent affluent, influential individuals to be pictured in Epstein's estate images disclosed by the oversight panel - earlier published pictures also depict US President Donald Trump and ex-president Bill Clinton, as well as film director Woody Allen, ex- US treasury secretary Larry Summers, lawyer Alan Dershowitz, Andrew Mountbatton-Windsor, and others.

Being pictured in the images is does not constitute indication of any misconduct, and a number of the pictured men have asserted they were not involved in Epstein's illegal activity.

In a announcement released with the image publication, Democrats on the US House Oversight Committee stated the Epstein property holders did not provide background information or timeframes for the photographs.

"Photos were selected to furnish the American people with openness into a typical cross-section of the photographs acquired from the holdings, and to provide understanding into Epstein's associates and his profoundly alarming activities," the release states.

The publication also features multiple photos of passages from the Vladimir Nabokov literary work Lolita inscribed in dark ink across several locations of a female's body, such as her torso, foot, pelvis, and rear. Lolita recounts the story of a young girl who was exploited by a adult literature professor.

One quote from the work inscribed across a woman's torso reads, "Lolita: the tip of the tongue making a journey of three steps down the roof of the mouth to alight, at three, on the teeth".

Additionally, there are a number of photographs of female identification and official papers from states worldwide, such as Lithuania, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

Most of the information on the IDs, including names and birth dates, is censored but the committee indicated in a statement that the passports belong to "women whom Jeffrey Epstein and his conspirators were interacting with".

A further photo depicts Epstein seated at a table intimately surrounded by three women whose identities have been redacted - one has her palm on Epstein's torso under his clothing, and another individual is bending to look at a adjacent computer. Epstein appears to be assisting the third attach a piece of jewelry.

Another photo released is a capture of text messages from an unidentified individual who states they have been supplied "several females" and are requesting "$one thousand dollars per female".

Image Disclosure Comes Ahead of DOJ Due Date

The panel has a vast number of photos in its possession from the Epstein property, which are "simultaneously graphic and mundane," its announcement on recently clarified.

The oversight panel first legally compelled the holdings of Epstein, who died in a New York jail in 2019 while pending legal proceedings on allegations of sex trafficking crimes, in August.

The photos and files the Epstein property submitted to the body are different than what is largely referred to "Epstein-related records". Those files are papers under the justice department's custody connected to its independent probe into Epstein.

In accordance with the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which Donald Trump enacted recently, the DOJ has until the date of 19 December to release its records. The extent of the contents included in the DOJ's documents is unclear, and it's probable that much of the content will be significantly redacted, akin to Congressional documents
