Los Angeles experienced citywide celebrations after the Dodgers won a thrilling seven-match World Series title. Fans across the globe joined Angelenos in jubilation, marking the first time in a quarter-century that a franchise has secured back-to-back championships.
Celebration Parade Attracts Enormous Turnout
Los Angeles area celebrations included a procession through the city center on Monday morning, a reserved-seating event at the team's home stadium, and spontaneous parties throughout the city.
Social media videos depict countless of Angelenos flooding city center avenues, many carrying homemade signs and team flags. The team was seen traveling proudly on a open-top bus through the masses, hoisting the Commissioner’s trophy high.
