Vince Zampella, Has Passed Away in a California Traffic Collision
Vince Zampella, renowned for co-creating the globally famous video game Call of Duty, has passed away in a car accident in Los Angeles, California he was 55 years old.
His passing was confirmed by Electronic Arts, the publisher that controls Respawn Entertainment, the development studio which he helped establish.
The celebrated game designer died after his car crashed and was engulfed in flames on a freeway in the Los Angeles area on Sunday, as reported by.
"We are facing an unimaginable loss, and our deepest sympathies go to his family and friends, his loved ones, and everyone impacted by his legacy," a representative from Electronic Arts said.
